“You can’t be serious.”

“The captain has determined that your conduct has disrupted the cabin and created a safety concern. You’ll need to disembark.”

Morgan stood.

“I’m not going anywhere.”

Daniel kept his voice steady.

“Ma’am, I’m asking you to collect your belongings and come with me.”

“I have a meeting in New York.”

“I understand.”

“You don’t understand anything. I paid for this seat. I paid for this flight. You cannot throw me off because she claims I slapped her.”

Daniel did not argue about the claim.

“There are multiple witnesses.”

Morgan looked toward Peter, Rachel, and the other passengers.

“They’re lying.”

Peter shook his head.

“I saw you hit her.”

Rachel held her phone against her chest.

“I recorded it.”

Morgan’s eyes flashed.

“Put that away.”

Daniel stepped between them.

“Do not approach the witnesses.”

Morgan’s voice rose.

“This is discrimination. You’re removing me because she has some official title.”

Elena closed her notebook.

“No. You’re being removed because you struck another passenger and refused to de-escalate.”

Morgan turned on her.

“You don’t get to decide that.”

“I haven’t. The captain has.”

Daniel confirmed it with a slight nod.

Morgan’s jaw tightened.

She looked at the crew supervisor, searching for some sign that he might reconsider. But Daniel’s expression had settled into the controlled seriousness of a professional carrying out a safety decision.

“Please collect your belongings,” he said.

For a moment, Morgan remained still.

Then she grabbed her handbag, pulled her phone from the seat pocket, and began stuffing items into it. Her movements were abrupt and careless. A lipstick fell onto the floor. She ignored it.

As she stepped into the aisle, she turned toward Elena.

“You’ll regret this.”

Daniel’s expression hardened.

“That statement is being documented as well.”

Morgan gave a bitter laugh.

“Document everything. See if I care.”

Elena met her gaze.

“I will.”

Morgan started toward the boarding door, escorted by Daniel and another crew member. The passengers watched in silence.
